Sparks Moot 2nd Edition

The Sparks Moot is the world’s first global legal advocacy and policy negotiation competitions, and associated training courses, on animal rights. It combines traditional aspects of law and policy with contemporary issues of animal rights to train future generations in securing balanced protections for all sentient life.

The 2nd edn. will take place at the University of Birmingham (UK), 10–12 December 2025. Participation is open to university students from all backgrounds, ranging from law to social and natural sciences—between our moot court competition for law students and policy negotiation competition for students in all fields, we have made the Sparks Moot accessible for and pertinent to everyone.
