#43 Weltraumrecht: Alles andere als Rocket Science

In Vorlesungen ist für das vermeintliche „Nischen-Thema“ Weltraumrecht oft nur eine Randnotiz übrig. Auch wenn das Weltall schon jetzt kein rechtliches Vakuum ist, eröffnen die jüngsten Entwicklungen spannende rechtliche Forschungsperspektiven: immer mehr private Akteure dringen in den Orbit, der Mars-Tourismus steht in den Startlöchern, und Weltraumschrott stellt zunehmend eine Gefahr für Satelliten dar. Maximilian Bertamini zeigt im Interview eindrücklich, welche grundlegenden völkerrechtlichen Fragestellungen im Weltraumrecht verhandelt werden und inwiefern irdische Konflikte und Machtgefälle auch im Weltraum fortwirken. Im Grundlagenteil führt uns Isabel Lischewski in den Weltraumvertrag von 1967 ein.
