Wie funktioniert eigentlich das tägliche Geschäft der Vereinten Nationen? Wie hat sich diese einzigartige internationale Organisation in den letzten Jahren entwickelt? Und können wir dabei einen Wandel ihres Charakters feststellen?

In dieser Folge zum Jahresende geht es um die wohl bekannteste internationale Organisation: die Vereinten Nationen. Zunächst geht Isabel Lischewski im Grundlagenteil darauf ein, ob die Vereinten Nationen Rechtsfähigkeit besitzen und inwieweit sie verantwortlich sind für von ihnen verursachte Schäden. Anschließend spricht Sophie Schuberth im Interview mit Hannah Birkenkötter über den Charakter und die Struktur der Vereinten Nationen, aber auch darüber, wie die Vereinten Nationen sich in den letzten Jahrzehnten gewandelt haben und was für Prozesse derzeit innerhalb der Organisation stattfinden.
