Malcolm Jorgensen

Malcolm Jorgensen is a Senior Research Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law, Heidelberg, and a non-Resident Fellow of the Berlin Potsdam Research Group on the ‘International Rule of Law’, Berlin. He holds a PhD in International Law and International Relations from the University of Sydney, Australia, which is published with Cambridge University Press as ‘American Foreign Policy Ideology and the International Rule of Law’ (2020). He has formerly served as an Assistant Director in the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and his research focuses on the politics of international law, foreign policy analysis and comparative international law, and the future of global legal order.
