Laura Burgers is an assistant professor at the Amsterdam Centre for Transformative private law (ACT) of the University of Amsterdam. She holds a PhD on the topic of democratic legitimacy of judicial law-making through climate litigation. Currently, she specializes in rights of future generations and the rights of nature.
