Manuel Bastias Saavedra is a researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Legal History and Legal Theory, where he coordinates of the joint-project ‘Glocalising Normativities: A Global Legal History (15th-21st Centuries)’. He is also principal investigator in the forthcoming European Research Council-Consolidator Grant (ERC-CoG) funded project ‘IberLAND’.
