Jannik Neumann is a Research Associate and PhD candidate at the Institute for the International Law of Peace and Armed Conflict (IFHV) at Ruhr-University Bochum. His research focuses on the protection of merchant shipping in the Red Sea and he teaches International Humanitarian Law in the NOHA Master’s Programme in International Humanitarian Action.
