Works-in-Progress Conference on 19 February 2026

The International Courts and Tribunals Interest Group (ICTIG) of the American Society of International Law (ASIL), in collaboration with the Faculty of Law (Common Law Section) of University of Ottawa and Neuberger-Jesin Chair of International Conflict Resolution, are pleased to announce a call for papers for the Works-in-Progress Conference on 19 February 2026 at the University of Ottawa. Both early career and more experienced scholars and practitioners are encouraged to submit their work-in-progress on any topic related to international courts and tribunals. Please email an abstract of max 500 words to Vladyslav Lanovoy (vlanovoy@uottawa.ca) and Philipp Kotlaba (p.kotlaba@icj-cij.org), ICTIG’s co-chairs. The deadline to submit an abstract is 1 December 2025. Decisions will be made by mid-December. If your paper is selected for presentation, please be prepared to submit your full paper by 30 January 2026. Upon request, funding may be provided to assist with the participants’ travel and accommodation costs.
