The EU A.I. Act 2023

The University of St. Gallen in Switzerland organizes a new public competition: “The First University of St. Gallen Grand Challenge: The EU A.I. Act 2023”. The prize for the winner of the Grand Challenge is 100’000 CHF (approx. 100’000 USD/EUR). The main event takes place on 18-19 July 2023 in the new SQUARE building at the University of St. Gallen. Teams compete in the Grand Challenge by assessing A.I. technology, which we source from A.I. producers, upon compliance with the upcoming A.I. Act of the European Union. An independent jury determines the best assessment and crowns the winning team.

With this ad, we invite potential teams and team members worldwide, including the U.S., to participate in the Grand Challenge. Die Universität St. Gallen organisiert einen neuen, öffentlichen Wettbewerb: „The First University of St. Gallen Grand Challenge: The EU A.I. Act 2023“, mit einem Preisgeld von 100’000 CHF (ungefähr 100’000 EUR). Die Grand Challenge findet am 18-19 Juli 2023 im neuen SQUARE der Universität St. Gallen statt. Im Wettbewerb  beurteilen Teams die Compliance existierender KI-Technologie, welche wir zusammen mit Technologie-Unternehmen für die Grand Challenge stellen, im Lichte der neuen KI-Verordnung der EU. Eine unabhängige Jury bestimmt die beste Compliance Beurteilung und damit das Team, das die Grand Challenge gewinnt.

Die öffentliche Ausschreibung für die Teilnahme von Teams läuft nun. Am 2.
