Climate Justice & the Rights of Indigenous Peoples: Defending an Environment for All with Dr. Giada Giacomini and lawyers for The Articulation of Indigenous Peoples of Brazil (APIB)

EnRoL! – The Human Rights & Rule of Law Speaker Series is organizing a webinar on climate justice that will take place on 7 December 2022, 1-2 p.m. (Amsterdam time).

We will discuss “Climate Justice & the Rights of Indigenous Peoples: Defending an Environment for All”, looking at the concept of climate justice, anti-indigenous policies and trying Brazilian’s current president Jair Bolsonaro in the International Criminal Court, with three fantastic guests:

Dr. Giada Giacomini, Max Weber Fellow, European University Institute (EUI), Department of Law, Florence, and            

Irene Bonetti & Giovanna Valentim, Human Rights Lawyers acting for The Articulation of Indigenes Peoples of Brazil (APIB), São Paulo.

Five times a year, we give the floor to two female role models, scholars and practitioners, who will discuss human rights and rule of law matters from around the world. EnRoL! is organized by Dr. Stefanie Lemke and Dr. Qiao Cong-rui (VU Amsterdam).
