He is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of International Criminal Justice and the Netherlands Yearbook of International Law. Van der Wilt has served as a judge in Special Chamber on International Criminal Cooperation in Criminal Matters of the District Court of Amsterdam and he is president of the Antonio Cassese Foundation.
