The RRU Centre for International Law invites submissions for its Essay Competition on the theme “UN International Law Commission Draft Articles on the Prevention and Punishment of Crimes Against Humanity.” This competition aims to encourage critical thinking on Asian-African perspectives regarding Crimes Against Humanity and to highlight relevant but less dominant divergences. Open to law students, academicians, and professionals, it welcomes submissions in all UN languages. Interested individuals must submit an abstract of no more than 300 words along with a short bio of the author(s). The top three essays will be awarded prize money from the Prof. (Dr.) Bimal N. Patel Scholarship Fund for Promoting International Law Studies and Research. The deadline for abstract submission is 31 March 2025, with confirmation by 7 April 2025.
