The Asia Justice Coalition and Universitas Andalas Law Faculty are seeking abstracts for a workshop entitled ‘Increasing Avenues for International Justice and Accountability in Asia’. The workshop will be held from 23rd-24th September 2024 in Padang, Indonesia in-person (with limited participation online).
Abstracts—including for works-in-progress and practitioners’ notes—should address any of a wide variety of creative legal ‘hooks’ and restorative justice approaches for addressing impunity for atrocity crimes in Asia. Early career researchers and students from the region are strongly encouraged to submit.

Presenters may be invited to publish in Andalas’ law journals in 2025. A travel bursary may be available—please indicate in submission email if required.
NB: Organisers will not be able to assist with visas.
