The German Yearbook of International Law is pleased to announce the launch of its ‘online-first’ policy, which will allow articles to be quickly disseminated in advance of the publication of their respective volumes. Currently, the online platform hosts several articles that will be featured in Volume 67 (2024), which will be published in September 2025. These include contributions by guest authors Heike Krieger and Aeyal Gross for Volume 67’s forum on ‘The ICJ’s Advisory Opinion on the Occupied Palestinian Territories’, as well as the articles for its focus section on ‘Time and International Law’ – the latter of which includes an introduction article by the editors that is now fully free-to-access-and-download.
Moving forward, all papers accepted for publication by the GYIL will be subsequently published online first to the Duncker Humblot eLibrary, available at: <https://elibrary.duncker-humblot.com/issue/7373/online-first>. Calls for submissions to the General Articles section of volume 68 (2025) of the GYIL are now open, and manuscripts can be sent to <yearbook@wsi.uni-kiel.de>.
